 Opening
of the competitions will be held on Monday evening in "National
Olympic Academy" and participants will visit "Imam's House", "Sa'd
Abad Palace", "Golestan Palace" and "Tehran Bazar" on Saturday
and Monday.
"Iran
is announced as the best host for grasski competitions" said
Issa Saveh Shemshaki, President of the Iranian Ski Federation.
He also said: " In the 2001 Conference of Grasski, Iran earned
the most vote for hosting the World Championship. Dizin Grasski
Slope is recognized as the second technical Grasski Area in the
world."
He mentioned:
"Our national Grasski team after Czech Republic, Italy and
Austria team is in the 4th palce in the world."

Japan
team will enter I.R. Iran Saturday as the 1st team and the other
teams will arrive with ans IRAN AIR Airplane.
The
opening of the FIS Grasski World Championship which will
be held at National Olympic Academy in Tehran at September 2005 will be on air Live like
the competitions itself by Iran Broadcasting Organization.
Jan
Nemec, Grasski World Champion from Czech Republic, will come to
Iran for the Grasski World Championship. Till now, 16 countries
including: Italy, Austria, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Germany,
Japan, Chinese Taipei and Pakistan in two branch, men and women,
have announced their participation in this competition. Also the
President of International Ski Federation, FIS, is invited to
Iran during the competitions.
For
preparation of Iran Grasski Team, they participate in
Czech competitions: Hossein Kalhor D., Hossein Kalhor Gh.,
Rahmatollah Moghdid, Mojtaba Seyd, Alidad Saveh Shemshaki in Men
Team, and Marjan Kalhor, Fatemeh Mahdavian and Mitra Kaalhor in
women team.

Ski Federation announced the names of Iranian Athletes which
will participate in Grasski World Championship Dizin 2005:

A: Mahmood Gholami, Hossein Kalhor D., Hossein Kalhor Gh.,
Rahmatollah Moghdid, Alidad Saveh Shemshaki, Seyed Mojtaba Seyd.

Seyed Reza Seyd, Seyed
Javad Seyd, Afshin Kalhor, Seyed Yaser Seyd.

Marjan Kalhor, Fatemeh Mahdavian,
Mitra Kaalhor; Reserve: Samira Goodarzi.
Grasski
Competition in honor of "Haftom Tir" was held with men and women
participants by Iran Ski federation and Tehran Committee.
Between 40 skiers, Hoseein Kalhor D. placed 1st, and mahmood
Gholami and Rahmatollah Moghdid placed seconfd and third
respectively. In women competitions, Marjan /kalhor, Fatemeh
Mahdavian and Mitra Kalhor placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively.
This competitions were held for preparation of National Grasski
Team for Grasski World Championship which will hold in Sep.

Grasski Committee's Conference on Dizin Grasski World
Championship was held on Friday and Saturday in National Olympic
Academy of I.R. Iran. Mohammad Hassan Alami Deputy of Iran
Physical Education Organization in Federations, Issa Saveh
Shemshaki President of Iranian Ski Federation and member of FIS
Grasski Committee, Jiri Russwurm,
President of Grasski Committee, Manfred Stähle from
Germany, Werner Berger from Swiss, Helmut Gruber from Austria,
Gottfried Wolfsberger from Austria, Winker Arno from
Germany and Fujita Yoichi from Japan discussed about
different aspects of this
competition. Competition will hold on 5-9 September 2005 in International
Dizin Ski
Area.
"Iran Physical Education Organization Guarantees the best
organization of the competitions" said Deputy of Physical
Education Organization in Federations. He also said: "Holding
this competition is of great importance for us. Iranian Ski
Federation will announce us its requirements and we will provide
them."
Members of FIS Grasski Committee also had an inspection from
options and equipments of Iran for organizing these competitions.
