Navid Moghdid grabs first medal for Iran
German Marcel Knapp won the title at giant slalom while Iranian Navid Moghdid grabbed the first medal for host nation.
Iran, Tehran- Marcel Knapp from Germany claimed the title at the 3rd day of the grass ski junior world championship at giant slalom after he managed to set the best time 1:06:15. Italian Davide finished second with 1:06:71.
Everything went well for Iranian Navid Moghdid as he grabbed the first medal for the host country. Navid set the record of 1:10:37 to secure bronze medal after so many athletes failed to finish the race.
At women’s Event, Daniela froam Austria kept the best place of the first run to win the gold medal. Maurio From Japan and Chaiara form Italy placed 2nd and 3rd.
