Mitra Kaleh Appointed as Head Coach of Iran’s Women’s Alpine Skiing National Team

The Acting President of the Ski and Winter Sports Federation has appointed the head coach for Iran’s Women's Alpine Skiing National Team.

According to the Public Relations Department of the federation, Mitra Kaleh has been officially named the head coach of the Women's Alpine Skiing National Team by Mehran Tishegaran, the Acting President of the Ski and Winter Sports Federation. Her tenure will extend until the 2026 Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics in Italy.

An excerpt from the appointment decree states:
"It is hoped that, with reliance on Almighty God, you will contribute to realizing the aspirations of the Supreme Leader’s ‘Second Step of the Revolution’ statement, create opportunities for youth, and utilize the potential of the younger generation for succession planning and sustainable development in women's skiing. By ensuring proper planning and coordination with the federation’s Vice President for Women’s Affairs and collaborating with other coaches, you are expected to enhance both the quantitative and qualitative progress of the senior national team."
