M.Dot.R Crowned Women's Ice Hockey League Champion / Closing Ceremony Held with Deputy Minister’s Presence

The M.Dot.R women’s ice hockey team claimed the championship title after defeating Ice Box in the final match of the league.

According to the Public Relations Department of the Ski and Winter Sports Federation, the Women's Ice Hockey League concluded on Thursday, March 6th, with the final showdown between M.Dot.R and Ice Box. The match ended in a 1-1 draw in regular time, but M.Dot.R secured the championship after winning the penalty shootout.

Ice Box and Hockey Panda finished in second and third place, respectively.

The final and closing ceremony of the tournament was attended by Fariba Mohammadian, Deputy Minister for Women’s Sports Development, Mehran Tishegaran, Acting President of the Ski and Winter Sports Federation, Rahmaniyoun, Acting Secretary of the Federation, Fatemeh Kiadarband-Sari, Vice President of Women's Affairs, Bahram Saveh Shamshaki, Executive Director, Mohammad Reza Saveh Doroudi, Head of the Competitions Committee, Mohammad Migouni, Head of the Education Committee, Bahareh Kheirkhah, Expert in Women’s Sports, Alireza Pakdel, Member of the Executive Board of the National Olympic Committee, Sajjad Anoushiravani, President of the Weightlifting Federation, along with other sports officials and experts.
