Head of the Ski Federation and Azadi Sports Complex Manager Visit Azadi Lake for Water Jump Platform Construction

The acting president of the Ski and Winter Sports Federation, along with the manager of Azadi Sports Complex, visited the lake at the complex to assess the construction of a water jump platform.

According to the Public Relations Department of the Ski and Winter Sports Federation, on Wednesday, February 28, Mehran Tishegaran, the acting president of the federation, accompanied by Mehdi Nasibi, the manager of Azadi Cultural and Sports Complex, Hamed Saveh Shemshaki, the head of the Freestyle Alpine Committee, and Jiro Miyamoto, a specialist from Japan, inspected Azadi Lake for the development of a suitable water jump platform.

The construction of such infrastructure is crucial for Mogul skiing, an Olympic discipline, as it allows athletes to train in the summer using water jump pools, ensuring proper preparation for winter competitions.

It is noteworthy that a specialized Mogul skiing camp was recently held at Shemshak International Ski Resort, featuring Japanese coaches and champions in the discipline.
