According to the Public Relations Department of the Ski and Winter Sports Federation, the FIS 2025 development program, focused on Asia, is currently taking place at the Yanqing Ski Resort in Beijing, China.
Iran’s U-27 national alpine skiing team is participating in the camp with Mohammad Saveh Shemshaki and Ali Alizadeh Saveh in the men’s category and Zahra Alizadeh Saveh and Sarina Ahmadpour in the women’s category. The team is coached by Bagher Kalhor. After the camp, they will compete in the Asian Championships.
Additionally, Eisa Saveh Shemshaki, Vice President of the Asian Ski Confederation, is attending the camp upon the invitation of the International Ski Federation and the Asian Ski Federation.
The main goal of this camp is to enhance the knowledge and skills of developing Asian nations to further promote the sport in the region.
Following the camp, the 33rd Alpine Skiing Asian Championships (U-27) will be held on February 28 and 29, where camp participants will have the opportunity to compete.
