Iran Hosts Girls’ Global Hockey Day for the Third Time

The Girls’ Global Hockey Day Festival was held in Iran for the third time, simultaneously with events worldwide.

According to the Public Relations Department of the Skiing and Winter Sports Federation and the Ice Hockey Association, the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) has designated a global day for girls' hockey since 2015. This year's festival took place on Tuesday night at the Icebox Rink in Iran Mall, aiming to unite the global community of female ice hockey players.

Around 150 players of different age categories participated in the event, competing in white and blue teams. Ultimately, the white team emerged victorious, while in the global tournaments, the blue teams had the upper hand.

Notably, this marks the third time Iran has hosted the Girls’ Global Hockey Game alongside other countries worldwide.
